This course focuses on PolyGel Nail Extensions and is designed for complete beginners, as well as nail technicians looking to refresh their knowledge and refine their extension techniques. Over two intensive training days, you will learn the theory, structure, and practical skills required to confidently create professional PolyGel extensions.
During the training, you will learn how to properly prepare the natural nail, work with PolyGel products, fit tips and forms correctly, create strong nail structures, and perfect your filing and finishing techniques.
By the end of the course, you will be able to confidently perform a complete PolyGel extension service, create professional oval, almond, and square shapes, and understand the theory behind durable, salon-quality nail enhancements.
Upon successful completion of the training, you will receive an ABT-accredited PolyGel Extensions certificate. This certificate is fully insurable and recognised within the industry, allowing you to professionally offer PolyGel extension services.

• Sterilisation and disinfection procedures
• PPE, tools, and salon equipment
• Natural nail anatomy
• Nail diseases, disorders, and contraindications
• Understanding PolyGel products and primers
• Natural nail preparation techniques
• Correct use of tips and forms

• Apex placement, stress points, and nail architecture

Course Structure
Day 1 – Theory & Practice
Students will work on themselves while learning the foundations of PolyGel nail extensions. The day focuses on theory, nail structure, product knowledge, natural nail preparation, tip and form application, and creating salon-ready nail shapes.
Day 2 – Model Work & Examination
Students will work on a live model and put their new skills into practice. The day includes continued extension work, shape perfection, e-file removal techniques, and both practical and theory assessments.
Practical Examination:
Students will create a complete set of PolyGel extensions in an assigned shape (oval, almond, or square) independently.
Theory Examination:
Students will complete a written assessment covering all theory taught throughout the course.
Certification
Students who successfully complete both the practical and theory assessments will receive an ABT-accredited PolyGel Extensions certificate.
This course is more than just a certificate. It is the foundation for building confidence, developing professional techniques, and creating strong, lightweight, and long-lasting PolyGel extensions that clients will love.
My goal is for every student to leave feeling motivated, supported, and confident in their ability to create salon-quality PolyGel extensions from start to finish.

Age Restrictions
All courses are open to students aged 16 and over, unless otherwise specified.
Course Schedule
Courses are scheduled based on demand.
If a course or workshop does not reach the minimum number of participants required to run, applicants will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to the next available date.
In rare cases where the course structure needs to be adjusted, students will be notified in advance.
The training centre reserves the right to make changes to course dates, times, or duration if necessary.
Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made at least 10 days before the course date.
- Cancellations made less than 10 days before the course will result in the deposit being non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The same applies to any no-show attendance.
It is the student’s responsibility to remember course dates and times and to confirm any changes with us in advance.
Deposit & Payments
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
The remaining balance must be paid on the day of your course.
