This course is designed for anyone who wants to start their journey with acrylic nail extensions. It is perfect for complete beginners who want to build strong foundations in acrylic, as well as for students with some experience who wish to refresh and update their skills.
During the training, you will learn how to properly prepare the natural nail, apply and build acrylic extensions step by step, and create professional shapes with flawless structure and balance. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident and ready to offer acrylic extensions to clients.
At the end of the course, you will receive an ABT-accredited certificate, meaning you are fully certified, insurable, and ready to provide professional acrylic nail services.

- Duration: 2 days (8 hours per day)
- Level: Beginner / Intermediate – suitable for total beginners and those with some experience

- Maximum Class Size: 4 students (small groups for individual attention)
- Model Requirement: Day 1 – no model required (students work on themselves). Day 2 – students must bring their own model
- Equipment Required: Students must bring their own professional e-file
- Support After Training: Lifetime educator support – students can send pictures of their work for feedback and guidance at any time
- Payment Options: 50% deposit required to secure your place. Remaining balance due on the first day of the course (cash or bank transfer)

Course structure:
Day 1 (students work on themselves):
- Welcome and introduction to the course
- Health and safety regulations in a nail technician’s career and responsibilities
- Overview of nail diseases and disorders and how to recognize them
- Proper hygiene, disinfection, and sterilisation practices
- Contraindications to performing acrylic nail treatments
- Overview of essential products required for acrylic extensions, ensuring safe and professional application
- Understanding acrylic system basics and selecting correct liquids/powders for best results
- Detailed explanation of natural and extended nail structure, including apex placement, stress points, and balance
- Natural nail anatomy and preparation techniques
- Introduction to acrylic extensions using tips and forms: theory and demonstration
- Step-by-step guidance on preparing, applying, and blending tips for extensions
- Learning to create oval, almond, and square shapes with tips, focusing on structure, accurate filing, and symmetry
- Understanding correct filing techniques and why they are crucial for structural integrity
- Aftercare instructions for acrylic extensions
Day 2 (students work on their model’s nails):
- Recap of Day 1, addressing questions or challenges from practice
- Hands-on practice of tip application to ensure flawless and seamless extensions
- Continued practice of acrylic extensions, focusing on creating professional shapes: oval, almond, and square
- Electric file demonstration: safe acrylic removal techniques
- Practical Exam: Students will create acrylic nail extensions in the assigned shape (oval, almond, or square) on their model or themselves, unaided
- Theory Exam: Students will complete a written test covering all course material, unaided
(Course dates are spread across few week to allow practice and development between sessions. Attendance is required on both days)

If a course or workshop does not reach the minimum number of participants required to run, applicants will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to the next available date.
In rare cases where the course structure needs to be adjusted, students will be notified in advance.
The training centre reserves the right to make changes to course dates, times, or duration if necessary.
Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made at least 10 days before the course date.
- Cancellations made less than 10 days before the course will result in the deposit being non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The same applies to any no-show attendance.
It is the student’s responsibility to remember course dates and times and to confirm any changes with us in advance.
