Course Structure
Day 1 – Theory & Practice
Students will work on themselves while learning the foundations of gel nail extensions. The day focuses on theory, nail structure, product knowledge, natural nail preparation, tip and form application, and creating salon-ready nail shapes.
Day 2 – Model Work & Examination
Students will work on a live model and put their new skills into practice. The day includes continued extension work, shape perfection, e-file removal techniques, and both practical and theory assessments.
Practical Examination:
Students will create a complete set of gel extensions in an assigned shape (oval, almond, or square) independently.
Theory Examination:
Students will complete a written assessment covering all theory taught throughout the course.
Certification
Students who successfully complete both the practical and theory assessments will receive an ABT-accredited Gel Nail Extensions certificate.

Hi, I’m Maksymilian Borowy, a 20-year-old international nail educator with Kohana Professional. My nail journey began at 14 in Poland and has grown into a passion that’s taken me across Ireland, Europe, and around the globe.
From my first small nail table to winning gold and multiple medals at international competitions in the UK, USA, Poland, Ireland, Germany, and China, I’ve dedicated myself to perfecting my craft. Today, I’m proud to share my knowledge and inspire others in the nail industry.
